Registry entry worked like a charm. Dell laptop with Nvidia Quadro 770m.
Tried installing type 1 fonts for Adobe InDesign. After registry edit and reboot I was able to install of the the fonts. Thank you! Dell, Adobe and Nvidia were no help at all!
